When I think of summer, I think of several things:

1.) Barbecues
2.) Bonfires
3.) Beaches

This summer kinda stunk, in the sense that it was colder than normal here, and while I can very easily withstand cold weather, cold water bothers me very much. Because of this, I couldn't go in the pool, and for the most part, the lake. Many of my friends were busy with internships and such, so bonfires were out, and barbecues were only with family members, and this summer happened to be an overly-dramatic time for my family.

So...

I got a couple chances where it was just me, my Nikon, and the beach.

Also, look at me, being all artsy-fartsy!
A friend of mine said that for this, the lake could represent summer, the path could represent the anticipation of its arrival, or the long trek to it, and the fence and dune grass could represent restrictions on summer fun (e.g. winter and spring weather).
For me, I just saw the fence as leading lines, and the same with the path.
