I belive you do not name Starfighters they get a product name and the call sign is the pilot's like "TailHugger" just like starfox's arwing has no name bigger ships like carriers, warships or a large bomber is considerd an actual starship thus it is appropreate to give it a name for good luck.

I think calling it a Bearcat would fit....my opinion. Still I like it.

Heh, its ironic that I just recently remembered how much I love that series...though if Mel had a ship of his own I have a feeling it would be a modified Wolfen or something along those lines. Still, that is one nice ship there patches, I would hate to see that in a dogfight =D

well in a dogfight against a standard ship it would be hard to keep up with this one but it would take a few shots before it brought you down. Idealy this is a hit and run type ship. Fly in from afar slow down just enough and open fire with the gautling gun then full throttle out of range...repeat as needed

Looks really great, but i may did a different fold-up gun sistem, that shows too much the mechanism and may be too vulnerable. I like a lot R-Fighters about spacejets :3:3:3

well this is primarily built for space battles so drag isn't an issue and the locking mechanism is strong enough that the gun won't move once locked into the 'ready' position. I didn't mean for it to hang so far out but oh well

The cockpit looks abit big for lil Eve is it a two seater, just one with extra space for her tail or is the cockpit formated so the pilot is is in recline?

Also I compliment you on the fold out idea but that far an extension would create alot of drag only to receive weak fire with a fast ROF? that said I'd use rockets more than the gun itself. But don't let that bother ya Eve, you did a great job on this project. Besides I would figure youre not the pilot to boost into the fray but the swift shooter type the support fighter to scare away tail biters or to finish off a fleeing target.

I had the idea the pilot seat could be moved at a flip of a switch, lay back and reangle itself for high speed flight or sit up like normal during standard operations.

So its like a high tech version of a collapseable lawn lounge? *ponders* BRILLIANT!

A most interesting design. I'd say that is best suited for attacking larger ships like cruisers or battle ships using hit and run tactics.

Very true. Much like the desogn I came up with called the Red Thorn piloted by a panther going by the call sign Black Rose. It has a stealth field generator which allows cloaking and full invisibilty to all scanner types but thermal. It's got further swept back wings to reduce drag and thus increase overall spead while maintining most the maneuverability of an arwing. The firepower is on par with a standard design but it's shielding with the cloak active is weak and the field malfunctions easily when the fighter takes damage.

Meh, I was thinking of calling it Dragskunk.

But anyways...it's a nice design, similar to the Arwings from SF: Adventures, the gatling is a nice touch and how it pops from under the ship. Good job, even made the com. panel.
