So I walked around the block to the local farmer's market and lo and behold they had some fresh king salmon caught the night before right in the bay! I couldn't pass up a chance like that. I promptly bought their best cut and ran home for some impromptu sushi rolling. It was a good thing I had a lot of leftover supplies from my Otter Party. 2 hours later, I had enough salmon sushi to feed 2 hungry men for an entire day.
In this photo, we have a little sashimi from the fattier, succulent belly-section of the fish. There's some pretty sake nigiri, which melted in your mouth BTW. Also my spicy inside-out sumo rolls made with my special Sriracha (Cock sauce) blend. Garnished with pickled ginger and 100% wasabi. I like to use premium short-grain sushi rice too. I make it seldom enough that I can splurge on the good stuff.
