way back in 04, the Russian Federation was having trouble, I believe with the Chechen (please correct me if I'm wrong), and some kids got caught in the middle. this was one of the few times something political caught my attention enough to inspire a response.

the bear character is Brother Russia ™, part of my Country Critters (provisional name) series. this is the design I came up with for the Russian Federation (which incorporates the current flag). I would like come input from Russian furs and those that can translate for them.
