Species: Polar Bear
Location: Brookfield Zoo
Date: 7/18/2002

This polar bear was awesome. There was a short while left before closing time at the zoo, so few people were still around, which seemed to draw his attention toward myself and my friend. Just for fun, I started to pretend I was yawning, and the bear started to mimic my actions, gaping his maw nearly a dozen times in that short while. It was the only time I've ever had an animal react in that manner. :)
