Well. Never exactly done this before, and really no idea what I'm doing. Lets get this straight, I'm a 3D modeler and a CNC handler. My mind doesnt function in "Build from what doesnt exist" so its hard for me to plug a muzzle on a blank head and say "Yep, looks good! Next part!" Until it's all together, my minds like dafuq!!!!

So, things are slowly coming along! Some things to note:

1) The lower jaw is false. I just quick-cut it for reasons of a picture :3
2) The ears are legit, but they're just quickly plopped it with no care for alignment, again, for reasons of picture.
3) Nothing is glued down so some foam ( like the cheeks ) stick out due to pins not pushed fully in
4) The eyes are obviously just paper with maker for picture reasons xD

So yup! I still gotta add the eye brows and some other foam to help give things shape. I thought I was in a good enough spot to be worthy of taking a progress picture and sharing, since not everyone out there knows I started a head over a month ago. I'm doing this SLOWLY as not to rush things, for a better outcome.

I also want to add, the fur of this head will NOT be my sona. Again, is doing my suit, I want my sona to epic. This head is going to be complete different design. Not even using green or black. I plan it as a partial, as I had fun sewing fur and I want to have the ability to go to some smaller events and be able to say "I made this myself" until I get my MFY suit, in which I'll enjoy prancing around as a cute wuffy. ^^


Enough said, I talk a lot x3 Watcha all think of the progress so far, for a first time nooby noob? I know you dont HAVE to carve the foam super smooth as the fur hides it. It's just a habit of mine to want things to be nice.. Possibly gona touch up the eye holes a little, have a little less dramatic / slope. :)
