I see it time and time again in video games and films female warriors wearing little to no gear in battle, just for the reason of being sexy. Now I totally get it, sex sells. I'll even admit in some circumstance it makes sense. However, in a realistic fight having only enough armor to cover your chest and pelvic area isn't going to protect much. Another problem I see is the built in breasts in the armor. If someone hits you with enough force in your chest that armor is going to bend in and crush your sternum, which can kill you. So I decided to do some armor studies and concepts that would work. I actually had a lot of fun drawing these. I'm in no way a professional in the art of armor, so If I have something wrong in my concepts I wouldn't be surprised. I did as much research as I could. but you never know, haha.
