Some of the little items I've worked on recently (plus my lucky creepy sand-bunny, whom I have not been able to bring myself to part with). Most of my "free time" is spent at the art desk working on these little guys. I either have music or a movie/show playing while I work on crafty junk - I prefer (talk) radio, as I tend to miss some things when I've got my eyes on the clay with the movies and shows ;) Most television is boring enough that I don't miss a lot, though!
Top row l to r: leopard gecko, lion, Aang (who is a freebie over on my dA account), polar bear, butterfly dragon, pirate dog Scalliwag, another leopard gecko.
Bottom: Pink seagod charm, carpet shark (ferret), flail snail, That Creepy Sand Rabbit, mush charms.
A chunk of these got shipped out today - I'd run out of boxes and just finally got more. Some are for sale. Some are on hold. Some are not yet paid for. Some are mine mine mine.
I just feel a bigger sense of accomplishment when they're all clumped together in one spot ;)
All polymer clay items, painted and glazed.

I have one set for sale right now: http://www.catharsiscomic.com/clayd.....ilablenow.html
Your stuff is really adorable. Personally, I hate to paint the clay I work with and bu the colored stuff, but sometimes I use regular Sculpy and embelish with Pearl-Ex powders. If you haven't seen that stuff you'd LOVE IT. It's really expensive but worth it and lasts a long time, and gives your critters the most amazing irridescent shimmer you've ever seen. Check it out sometime. Keep up the good work.
Yeah, I've got a bunch of Pearl-Ex stuff, not everybody (actually only a small number of people that order from me) likes the shiny stuff though. They don't like a metallic-looking fox, for example... I do a lot of canids and felines.
I used to use regular Sculpey but once I started shipping overseas/internationally, I found that no matter how well they were packed, they broke a lot more easily. Since I switched over to Super and Firm, the break rate has decreased exponentially. Ah well.

Do you mean regular Sculpy? Sculpy 3 always breaks easily, whereas Sculpy has a bit more durability. Fimo and Premo are very good and the superflex is hands-down the best.
As for Pearl-Ex, yeah, can't use them on standard animals, but maybe dragons. *shrugs* I love the stuff.
