So Saruteku the Miner decided to go gather materials in the Nether while his brother Soul built up their house and community in the overworld, but Saru didn't expect Soul to shut down the portal after him. With no way to get back home Saru had to rely on a base that was already made, but he learned really fast survivability is next to impossable. Days without sleep, unbareable heat, no water, no crafting materials, trees and plants grow slow, mobs that can cause explosions from a distance, and one mistake can get you butured by a family of Pigs. Saru tried commiting suicide to respawn in the overworld, but his brother set the Nether to be his new Spawn point. He was trapped.

Blaze cream from the magma cubes for burns, Blaze Rods and his shirt to close wounds and cover them, any sword he can steal from the Pigmen or Wither Skeletons, and gold trimmed hat in a febbel attempt to protect his head.

Not all was bad, he met Oro, A goofy caring Pigmen that became Saru's companion. Personality wise he would be Chris' older brother, just with a fasination over shiny things. Together they defeated the mighty warrior of the Nether Wither in hopes Wither would help Saru reactivate a portal. Instead the sadistic king laughed and gave Saru a Nether Star saying "Keep it close, it will become useful" Oro had to stop Saru from throwing it in Lava quite a few times for being useless.
