I have a pair of spice finches and 2 breeding pairs of zebra finches (George, Scruffy and their wives) who had 3 and 2 babies who have just fledged.
So I went from 6 birds to 11, but that's okay, I got such a large cage planning to fill it eventually X3
I have had these guys for over a year now and this is their first batch of babies.
I am looking to add another pair to the cage, likely society finch since everything but spice, zebra and society cost A LOT (jeebus $100 for a single finch in some cases)
PS Cuddles approves
PSS I effing love the cocoanut houses with the little bridges <3
PSSS baby finches look like zombie birds o__O; for the longest time they were anything but cute XD

After a while I plan to remove the nests and otherwise discourage breeding, for now though at least one more batch of babies is welcome
They make such great little parents, I opened the door to place feed at the bottom since one of fledgelings is down their not quite able to get back up yet... and its parents flew down to its sides and scowled at me X3
