I’m saddened to announce that one of my cats Celine has died today. I saw her in the next door neighbour’s yard motionless and I couldn’t believe my eyes.
The lady next door was good enough to let us take the cat away for a proper burial.
I remember her as a little kitten how she would hish at me to defend herself until she grew to accept me as not only her owner but her friend.
She was the most affectionate cat of my three and even though she sometimes got in my way or stuck her claws in areas she shouldn’t she really brought joy into my life.
From times when she laid on my lap to when she licked my hand she always there to comfort me and that’s why I named her Celine as she reminds me of the singer ‘Celine Dion’ and how beautiful her music is. When I ever hear Celine Dion I’ll think of her.
I didn’t get emotional until I made this tribute for her and as such I will always miss her as she was a blessing like her 2 sisters ‘Faye and Shaniqua’.
Rest in peace Celine, you’re in a better place now.
