Sorry it's been so long since the last upload. I was really intimidated by this page as there are so many backgrounds, so I've been trying out some new software to help - SketchUp and Manga Studio. SketchUp is a godsend (You can see a tutorial on using it for backgrounds here: fav.me/d58fpqc). I'm still not sold on Manga Studio, although it does make drawing straight lines a lot easier. I did learn a lot from this page.

Anyway, I've decided not to work to a weekly deadline now as it was causing me too much stress. I know that won't help me to get readers, but nor will rushed artwork.

Again, with critique I'm mainly looking for feedback on the story, writing, pacing etc. Probably still too slow. Hmm. I'm attempting to build mood and a sense of place, but I suspect I'm actually just boring everyone.
