My first animated icon featuring bodily movement. Inspired by my time spent taking orders in a McDonalds drive-thru.
Most of the time I'm taking orders, people will pause for a long while and the rushed atmosphere of a fast food complex requires the order taker to assume they're finished with their order. So comes the routine of asking, "Will that complete your order?" More often then not, I am interrupted, yelled out, or met with aggression from the customer because they were expecting me to somehow foresee that their order wasn't complete. And yet, there are many times I won't ask if the order is complete yet because I'd rather the customer tell me they're done then me having to force it out of them, only to find that the person would rather sit staring at the order screen in silence for 10 minutes than say "that is all" at the end of their order. Eh, everything at McDonald's is a lose-lose situation anyway.
Well, back to being overworked and underpaid in the fast food industry!

At least half of the people who come through our drive-thru are regulars and I love most of them. They, as well as a select few of my employees who I enjoy being around as well, make my job tolerable. It's the perverted old men, snobby old ladies, people with sticks up their asses, people in a frenzied rush and general asshats that irk me. Oh, and those people who pay in $100 bills.
I'm not much of a fast food person but sometimes those strawberry banana smoothies keep me from destroying my coworkers. Hahah, I'm joking anyway. I used to work in a movie theatre and we'd routinely do things to customers like see how much butter / salt we could put in the popcorn before someone complains. It was normal to see someone drop a tray of pretzel bites, put them back on the tray and serve them. The overnight cleaning people would use the ice buckets as mop buckets. Ect.
Never again, food service.
