“Must draw more ponies!” ‘Cause I don’t think there are enough. Well honestly I could just keep drawing them and filling every corner with their little rotund pony bodies but I’ll quit now. So there are lots of ponies. But look, there are other things also, like celtic knot trees! And oh, yes, a dragon too!
The story about this is that I had a dream. About a white dragon with pink wings that guarded over a herd of ponies and watched over them and made sure they had happy little pony lives. I’m quite inspired to someday make it into a children’s storybook.
So marks the first piece of art of I’ve done in a month, no promise that this is a break in the art block I’m mired in but it’s a nice little penance to the art gods I think. I prefer reading of late. This year I’ve read, “The Last Unicorn,” “His Dark Materials Trilogy,” and I finally finished “The Chronicles of Narnia.” I’m currently reading “InkHeart,” and have the “Spiderwick” books next on my list.
