Fire Feline Pumferno (RP story)

(An RP that I did with a friend on dA and turned it into a story, hope you enjoy this.)

It was a harsh day as a blizzard blew harshly along the landscape, the area white with the powder as a child is walking through the blizzard as he is wearing winter clothing to keep himself warm. The blizzard was growing worse, a cave nearby looking like a very good shelter as he heads towards the cave, entering it and sat down on the ground for a bit, rubbing his arms for a bit to get warm. As he does so, it was barely noticeable, but he could feel a tiny bit of heat from further in the cave as it was kind of warm.
"Hmm?" he asked himself, looking towards the direction of the heat, wondering what is it making the small heat he had felt.
It was further in the cave, it feeling a bit of a welcoming heat as he shook his head a bit, "I rather not risk it." as he continued rubbing his arms to get warm, not wanting to head towards the heat that is coming from deeper in the cave.
Though it was slowly becoming an option of survival though as the blizzard was starting to blow into the cave as the child said, "Guess I don't have a choice..." heading towards the heat, though only to get to a spot he can be warm without heading towards the source.
He then hear the sound of something sleeping further in at his spot now, I rather not going deeper in the cave..." he quietly said to himself, sitting down again as he was now warm from the heat.
The breathing continued, occasionally seeing a glow as well deeper in the cave still.
"What the...?" he asked himself, seeing the glow as he stood there in his spot still.
The glow returned with each breath let out, a small wave of heat hitting you, but again it was the welcoming kind, though he shook his head again, "Again, I rather not risk it..." as he closed his eyes and went to sleep for a bit, hoping the blizzard will be over soon.
Several hours later, the blizzard ended, but he could feel a heat in front of him now, as well as small currents of air as the child squints his eyes a bit, slowly opening his eyes as he wondered why the heat is in front of him.
As he opened them, he saw the muzzle of a massive feline, it standing at sixty feet in size with a mane that seemingly danced with fire, as the child stood there completely still, very scared out of his life, wondering what to do next without making it angry. The creature slowly blinked a bit, sniffing him a bit as he slowly tried to move away from it, trying to not get it angry as he is very scared as the creature continued sniffing, not angered at the movement, rather curious of him.
"Please don't sniff me..." he said, still moving slowly away from it, still scared as he want to get out of the cave as fast as possible.
The creature frowned a bit, lifting a paw and placed it on him. The pads of skin on them were very warm to the touch, lowering its head to him again, its face very close to him.
"Please let me go..." he said, starting to struggle a bit as he was scared still.
It sniffed him a bit more, soon lifting its paw off him, laying down close to him as the child said, "Please let me go out...I was only here until the blizzard stops..." slowly getting up from his spot as he started to head out of the cave.
The creature watched him go, though got up, starting to head for the exit as well as the child soon exits out of the cave, happy a bit that the blizzard has finally stopped blowing. The feline came out shortly after him, the snow around its paws melting to the touch as the child looked at it for a bit.
"Well...its nice knowing you." he said, starting to walk through the snow.
The creature watched him walk, starting to follow him behind for a while, as it wanted to be with him. The child continued walking for a few minutes, not knowing the creature is following him behind as the feline continued following, as he can hear the crunch of the snow beneath its paws.
"Huh?" turning around as he saw the creature behind him, "Are you following me?" as he stopped walking for a bit.
It nodded a bit, small sparks coming off its mane, fading mid-flight, "Why? Why are you following me for?" he asked, as he is confused a little bit.
The feline didn't say anything to him, it stopped walking for a bit too, as the child frowned a small bit, "If your thinking of me taking you home, the answer is no. I don't have a home as I only travel."
It looked at him for a bit, reaching down and lightly nuzzled him, willing to be with him despite such, "I don't know...you being with me...I just don't know..." said the child, looking away from it for a bit.
The feline gave him a small lick, even its saliva was really warm as the child said, "You may follow me...but I'm still thinking of you being with me." wiping off the saliva off his cheek, as he started to walk again.
It nodded, to follow besides him they continued to walk for a while as night was setting in several hours later, soon stopping as he said, "We better stop, its getting late."
It nodded a bit, laying down on the ground as the child grabbed some wood around the area they are at, putting them in a pile as he made a fire a couple of moments later.
It smiled a bit, looking down at the child, "Well, I'll see you in the morning then, if you can, try to keep the fire going as much as you can." he said, laying down as he closed his eyes and went to sleep.
It nodded a bit, though felt its stomach grumble a couple of minutes later as the child opened one eye as he said, "Are you hungry right now?" as he heard its stomach grumbling as it woke him up a bit.
It nodded a bit, laying its head down next to him, "What are you going to eat?" he asked, looking at it with one eye still.
The feline glanced at him, lightly nudging him with its face as the child opened both of his eyes as he looked at the creature, "What is it? What do you want to eat?" as he was confused a bit.
It gave him a small lick, coating him in the warmed saliva again as he finally gets it and said, "No...the answer is no. Don't even think about that, please."
It gave him another lick, soon closing its mouth over him gently, "No! Please don't eat me!" he said, as the child started to struggle to get free from its mouth.
The feline ignored him as it licked his body, purring happily from his taste, "Stop! Let me go!" he said, as he continued to struggle very much.
It purred a bit more, pulling him fully into its mouth, closing it as it continued licking happily, "Open your mouth!" As the child yelled, trying to push the tongue away from him.
It slowly tilted its head up, continuing to purr from his struggles, "Spit me out!" he yelled, as he slowly slides to the back of its throat as he continued struggling.
It only swallowed when he reached it, purring even more, "Don't do this to me!" he yelled, still continuing to struggle as the feline continued to swallow, sending him sliding down its throat.
"Come on! Spit me out, please!" he yelled, still struggling very much as it purred happily from the struggling, the way down slowly getting hotter, "Get me out of here!" he yelled, as he kept on struggling as he started to sweat a bit.
He soon slide into the stomach, the walls hugging him body as he could hear faint bubbling around him, but not in the stomach, "Get me out of here! Its hot in here!" he yelled, continuing to sweat still.
He then felt the area shift, a roar sounding out as well as the sound of a dispersion of fire, the area slowly cooling down as he couldn't stay awake anymore from the heat as he slowly fall asleep a few moments later. The area was soon cool enough that him could sleep comfortably, the area shifting as the beast laid down again as the child continued sleeping throughout the night as he stopped sweating soon after.
When morning came, he were back outside, snuggled into some fur as the child opened his eyes as he looked around himself as he saw the creature again, looking at it for a bit as the creature was asleep, curled up around him as he is laying on its right fore-paw.
He kept looking at it for a bit more, frowning a small bit as he shook his head, "Why...why it has to eat me..." as he quietly said to himself as he carefully tried to get off its fore-paw.
The feline shifted a bit in its spot, yawning widely from the movement as the child got off its fore-paw, seeing that it started to wake up, as he stared at it for a bit. It soon finished yawning, slowly opening its eyes as it looked down at him, the fire-mane dancing on top of its body as he looked at it for a bit more longer, soon slowly turned around as he started to walk through the snow as he hear the beast moving, the crunching of snow following after it got up from its spot.
"If your following me...please stop." he said, continuing to walk through the snow as the beast continued following, not wanting to leave him be as it doesn't want the child to perish in the frozen wilds.
He looked back as he saw the creature, "Please...don't follow me...because of what you did to me last night..." as he slowly cried a small bit, picking up the pace a bit.
It mewed a tiny bit, quickly going in front of him as it had its head level with him as the child looked at it for a bit, slowly crying a bit more, turning his back away from it as he said, "I'm not talking to you...and I'm trying not to be mean to you as well..."
Its ears folded down a bit, slowly walking up to him, giving him a small nudge with its muzzle, as he kept crying still as he said, "Please...leave me alone for a bit..."
The beast lightly nodded a bit, laying down on the ground as some of the snow was thrown up from such, as the child slowly sits down on the snow, continuing to cry a small bit as he kept his back turned away from the creature. It mewed quietly again, laying its head down next to him as he turned his head away from the face of the creature, continuing to cry a small bit still as he doesn't want to talk to it, as the feline continued watching him, starting to feel saddened as well.
He continued crying for a bit more longer, as he finally said, "I will say this...you may follow me...but you must promise me something." as the feline looked at him, lifting its head up a bit, the tail swaying a bit as well.
He sniffled a bit, crying still but not very much, "I want you to promise that you won't eat me...at all...no matter what you try to do..." he said, looking away from its face though as the feline frowned a bit, laying its head down next to him again, unsure if it could keep that promise.
"I'm sorry...if you can't keep that promise...then I don't want you to follow me anymore..." he said, continuing to cry a small bit now as the creature sighed a small bit, lightly moving its paws to in front of him, lightly hugging him to its body, wanting him to calm down.
He slowly started to calm down as he slowly stopped crying as well, "Promise me you won't eat me...no matter what..." as the feline nodded a bit, giving him a couple of small licks as well.
He sniffled a small bit, "Ok then...but...if you break your promise...I will never forgive you for the rest of my life..." as he said to the creature as its ears folded down a bit, thinking it was a bit drastic but sighed, nodding as well.
"I know its a bit harsh...but I don't want to be eaten by you again as I was very scared..." he said, as he soon stopped crying completely, wiping the tears of his eyes with his arms as it nodded a bit again, lightly laying the furred side of a paw over his face, mainly to wipe the tears away.
"So please...don't ever do that to me...ever again..." he said, wiping off the tears off his face still, as he looked up to the creature's face as it sighed a bit as it nodded again, laying its head down next to him again as it rested its paws over him, feeling the warmed blood flowing through them.
"Thank you..." he said, slowly closing his eyes as he felt warm from it, as he slowly went to sleep from the warm heat from its paws on him as the feline smiled a bit, snuggling him in before falling back to sleep as well, as he felt the snuggling from the creature, continuing to sleep as he didn't wake up from it. The feline smiled a small bit in its sleep, happy to be with the child to take care of as it also hoped to keep its promise to him as well.

The feline smiled a small bit in its sleep, happy to be with the child to take care of as it also hoped to keep its promise to him as well.
