im sorry for giving you such a depressing backstory erika i guess i should explain a little

my original thought was like she was born as an unwanted child through sex slavery which made her a bastard child of both german and jewish. her biological father works on staff in a highly secretive human/animal hybrid testing facility that he ends up putting her through because he didnt have the heart to have her killed through some shred of morality.

so essentially slowly over the course of 15 years she gains attributes of various animals, mostly raccoon, through various treatments that she receives, until her biological father, having been eaten away by his developed morality and guilt, ends up sacrificing his life in order to help her escape on a boat destined for sweden around age 19 or 20 where she lives in peace for the rest of her life

this is also the reason behind the blue blood; all the test subjects are genetically engineered to have specially pigmented blood in order to specifically categorize them based on the year they had been introduced to the program. once the facility is vaporized the blood color becomes nothing more than a genetic trait

i am reeeaaally iffy about ties to nazi germany and getting facts straight enough to insert into such a significant historical event, but that is my rough sketch of her backstory and i dont care how well it aligns for now
