Wonderful picture my mate took of a Western Fence Lizard (aka "blue-belly lizard")
on our backpacking trip.

He was such a plump and healthy guy, though, I have my suspicions that its a gravid female :P. S/he was camouflaged so well that i almost hit them with a stick i was throwing at a large rock!

Sounds like the good life, to be a lizard in the forest.
