I think this is a female mourning dove? Feel free to correct or confirm if you can identify birds better than I can.

Anyway, I just thought she was super pretty--her eyes looked so blue! She let me get pretty close (within 4-5 feet). I almost worried she was hurt because she would only walk around, and let cars get pretty close to her when she walked into the street! As I tried to corral her back in the yard, though, she took off, so that was reassuring.
