I heard a lot of people saying that they love each other. Well, I do this as well, but I have another way to tell it and show that it is the truth. When I came home from work yesterday I cooked this dinner for my mate He loves it to death I would say Since I live with him, I have more and more fun to cook such things
Picture done with my mobile phone camera
Dinner cooked by me :-P
For: My lovely mate, the one and only in my heart and the one I will spend my whole life with <3
Recipe
For the meat:
Clean a complete fillet of pork and cut it into 2 finger wide pieces. Flavor them on both sides with salt and pepper. If you have done that, sear the pieces and take them out of the pan again.
For the Sauce:
Slake the meat juice in the pan with one or two small glass of white wine and let it boil up. Add the cream to this and mix it. You can add some stock if you want, but it is not necessary. Again boil it up and add some green peppercorns. I take some which are in a glass with a brine. Mix everything and put the meat back in the sauce and wait till it is ready for you.
For the rest:
I like to add croquettes to this meal, they are easy to make by yourself or just buy them.
The green things on the photo are beans out of our garden. Here in Germany we call them "Rahmböhnchen" cream beans in English. Of course you can buy some as well, but they must be fresh! Cut the ends of and put them in a big kettle full of water and boil them off. This takes normally around a few minutes. Don't forget to add salt to the water (I forgot that many times^^°). In the meantime clean an onion and cut it in little dices. Roast them gently till they are gold brown. Add one spoon with flour and mix it very good! No add the beans to it and mix it again. After one or two minutes add the cream. After you mixed it you can start to flavor it. Just take a bit salt and if you like some pepper. I often take only salt and than it is tasty as hell :)
So and that's all :) I hope you will enjoy it!!!
Also sorry for the bad English... this is my first recipe I translated into English ^^°
