I'm always imagining robots like this bending too far and breaking the pilot.
I don't want to be broken in half.
Luckily Starcraft 2 put my fears to rest by including a description of the mech that turns into a fighter craft. Said the pilots needed to "have their cherry popped" with their first transformation, if they weren't agile enough it got messy.
