Actually I think the background is nice. It's soft, and subtle, and certainly does not take away from the hawt guy in the middle of the pic. YUM! Very nice work on him. Especially the abs. Maybe in a few months I'll have abs like that. I just started going to the gym a few weeks ago. ^_^

Wonderful work. I like the background. Funny enough it makes the character pop even though it's the same color. Nice touch with the flipped gradient on the bottom and in the box...

Oh, and the actual character work is teh awsome. You work with poses rather well, and your anatomy is still as sexy as ever. Kudos on coloring the "fabric" of the pants and actually making them look like denim jeans. o.o

As for the background, it is simple, but it does work, not all backgrounds have to be amazingly detailed, hell sometimes that takes away form the figure.

And in your case the subject is awesome, I love all the details on the jeans and wings, that and the coloring is nice and soft.
