This was intended to be a sort of hybrid design which is why I thought I could use resin eyes but some fursuit makers think it doesn't work.
The sketch on the lower right is to illustrate the "toony" styling that is the basis for the head shape instead of doing feral / realistic (a real hard one to do in foam).
Now I'm seriously depressed that after all that work around the eyes, I have to cut out the resin eye area (saving as much as possible to use again on another suit) and replace with toony eyes.
Does this general design need to be toony eyes only? I know these resin eyes are a bit small and I'd get larger ones if I could (I don't have the $$). There is black felt / fur around the eyes including a sort of "eyelid" as well so they look slightly smaller than they are. The resin eyes are 30mm.
[EDIT] I was shown on FB that very large diameter resin eyes work on toony style or semi-toony style so if I got resin eyes twice or so as large, they'd work. But I don't have the $$ to do so or a resin casting kit. *sigh*

It's my 'prototype' head for commission - so it really has to look good and so on but kept for various reasons. I will try to make stuff to sell and after the next high quality head, I would then sell this rabbit head (or fursuit partial!!) but not before. Right now it needs to be perfected and used to be sure it's good, it's somewhat different from my other two heads so I need to be sure it's "good" to use. I'm striving for perfection!! lol
But as much as I need the money, this head I'll be keeping for a while. I may still need it to work on better parts and such but mainly it's a selling tool thing.
IF this head were NOT for showing to potential customers and such, I would be flexible on it, FedFox (which btw now sports a hokey looking sparkle red nose!!) and other fursuits will be open on their designs to my pleasure. Excelsior I will try to have as the best suit for wearing all the time. So replacements may occur over time as my quality improves and hold on to the old stuff for nostalgia and other times. But the 'older' Excelsior of course can still be flexible in it's construction and quality.
But Dagnabbit is the one that it's critical to get right. I'm striving for Mixed Candy / Beastcub stuff!! :p
Just trying to help you understand the goals which I really should put in my journal / photos!!
