So I realized I never posted a picture of the completed tat. So here it is! really freakin happy with it. It's the foot of the forest god from princess mononoke, but its supposed to only sort of me there, almost like its just passed, or just stepping down or....something. XD

my thoughts about tattoos are that they have to be something of significance, and not just a willy-nilly "Well, I like dragons" kind of thing. They origionally were a spiritual art form, and that is how I choose to keep mine. Both as works of art, and as something of great spiritual importance to me. My next one, for example, was drawn for me by a friend just before she died for my 16th birthday. She was somebody wise beyond her years, and told me that I had two very different sides of me, and that I had to be careful to keep them in balance, so it is of a wolf and a cheetah in a yin/yang design. So if you're indecisive, I'd say that its not the right design for you, or the right time. Take all the time you need. there's no rush. its something that will be on your body for the rest of your life.
