Axxis hired his Croatian bodyguard Mirko after the first King of hardcore tournament to ensure his safety as the owner of the company. Over the few months Axxis and Mirko spent alot of time together training and getting to know each other, Mirko started to see Axxis as more than just a client and is super protective of him outside the ring, Axxis caught on to this and soon realised that Mirko had started to fall for him, Axxis started learning Croatian in order to comfort Mirko and the two got really close, one night Axxis and Mirko went back to Axxis' appartment and Mirko admitted that he liked Axxis but was scared Axxis wouldn't like him back due to his massive size of 7ft 10in tall and 740lbs, Axxis slowly went in and kissed him to comfort him and the 2 became best friends, Mirko and Axxis enjoy kissing and cuddling each other outside of work and even discuss ideas for the future of DMW, Mirko doesn't wrestle because he is submissive despite his size but he enjoys watching Axxis from the sidelines.
