I can change it. Well here is the idea:
You eat pessimism and replace it with optimism, but you are an optimist (If I ever met one).
The idea came with Kaiya, since she has to eat peoples souls to stay alive, but it doesn't seem to matter who the person was, good or evil, the soul only serves as food, nothing more.
The same idea was with you ... at least that's what I tried.

Hehe, well I wouldn't say I actually consume it. I wouldn't think that it would be very tasty. But if there is anything I can do to inspire and encourage others, I will try my best to do so.
