Here we used 4 layers of paper mache, as the mask, the metal frame was not used to hold the mask, the paper mache proved to be though enough. The glue between the paper layers was a 1:1 water and flour. After the 4th layer I covered both the outside with this water/flour mixture which weekend the mask and it collapsed flat, BUT we managed to save it, since the mask managed to hold its shape once we lifted it up from the table *phew*
here we started painting the nose, lips and eyes.
