finally got around to making a species sheet for my Jalcon babies <3

this basically tells you everything you need to know about them in a nut shell, but if you have any questions feel free to ask :)

Jalcons are a CLOSED SPECIES, meaning that you CAN NOT create your own without my permission. i will be opening a few Jalcon adopt auctions here and there (just keep a watch for them in my submissions and journals!)

ADDITIONAL INFO:

this Species ref features my male Jalcon (Anu) and a female (Hathor) (which i'm considering re-drawing and posting as my first Jalcon adopt) (sorry, the man face expressed interest in this one!)

i feel like i need to address the coloration and gender differences a little further because i couldnt fit it all into the ref sheet..
COLOR IS NOT GENDER BASED (you can tell the difference between a male and female by the chest tufts and by their size. females have a larger tuft of plumage on their chest, and are generally smaller than the males, HOWEVER there are cases where the females can out grow the males)

COLOR:
these are NOT the only two color combinations they can be, however Jalcons (male or female) are commonly a neutral grey to brown (can be any varriant between light and dark colors of these) with bold colorful markings (the colored markings usually only consist of two different colors)

MORE RANDOM INFO:
Jalcons generally dont wear clothes. (call them "free spirits" if you will...) However, they dont mind accessorizing, so it's not uncommon for them to have piercings, bangles, collars/necklaces, rings, scarves, and in some cases hats or head dresses. unlike some species, they generally dont have fears or extreme enough instances of self consciousness enough to worry about weather or not they're "nude". Jalcons display an odd self confidence when it comes to their bodies and often times dont understand the concept of clothes anyway.
