I get you, at least you stuck with a major and got your degree in it. Have a trouble time sticking to a degree plan here ^^'

What kind of classes and majors have you dabbled in? But I think college is a good opportunity to learn about who you are. Of course just the lectures and the labs is not enough to prepare you for the real world, it's getting your hands dirty and actually working you realize if you like or don't like what you're doing.

Yes, I did stick with my major and got a degree, just wished I did some more exploration. My units unfortunately were pretty much maxed out though.

Went to an art school, flunked out, all i really learned was how to use adobe illustrator with a mouse, but that's incredibly slow work. Been dabbling with English major, now going for a Jewelry certificate ^^'

That's pretty cool. Adobe Illustrator could be learned at community colleges, and a mouse? That's like trying to draw with a bar of soap ^^;

Yeah art school, I heard bad things about it where people need to be super productive and super competitive and the grading system really sucks (I wouldn't really know, I don't go to art school, just the community colleges) but good for you! =)

You know it's not really our diploma that matters (it helps I'm sure) but you have just a good chance of getting a job as me as far as I'm concerned. Getting a college degree is like a dime in a dozen and I think people hiring are looking more at if you have earned a masters or your skill sets (and ahem, Google and Facebook, excuse me some privacy here!?)

yeah, my main issue was that it was online school cuz my parents didn't want to let me move out. But yeah, if you want to get a job asa graphic designer, its the portfolio that matters not the degree.
