So I guess I'll start from the beginning.

The design looks a lot like the game character I was doing for my friend for one reason, because essential it is.

when I was designing the character the animal choice was not random.
I felt a had a lot of connections to the long eared jerboa, we both have long faces (big nose and pointy chin), big ears, remain quiet and unnoticed a lot of time (and with some of the bullshit people do it's sometimes best to go unnoticed for when the drama kicks off lol). As well as only really become active at night (well when I'm on holiday at least :P)

So when me and friends where brain storming animal ideas (with not much success) I threw out the animal long eared jerboa. First response was "What the hell is a long eared jerboa?" I showed them pic's of one and they thought he was funky and cool then I showed them a prototype drawing of something I was working on for a personal fursona and they loved it and we shared ideas of what direction the design of him should go (clothes etc).

So after one of my friends got a job we kinda shelved the game idea for when we all got free time again and I felt now I can have my guy back and use him for what he was essential for... to be my fursona :P

Btw no besides you who is reading this knows of this and would like it to go no further again. Because I know one particular friend of mine loathes anything fur related and I already got him causing enough hassle already
