Finally! I have completed going through my Terry Toon photos that I took in early July. I will be posting them and links to other shots in rapid succession. I have also linked to the other WIP shots in my Photobucket, check them out!

So! I got to try out the toon nose that I sculpted earlier this year, just to get a feel for its comfort, ease of application, and overall fun factor. The fun factor was certainly quite high, and it was a really transformative experience!
There were several pieces involved: the main nose piece, 2 eyebrow covers, a lower lip piece and a chin. Here's a quick breakdown of each piece.
*Frankly, the chin didn't really fit in with the rest of the piece and likely won't be offered when I put this in production.
*The lower lip held up surprisingly well, and the blending edges were good, so that is promising as an optional piece.
*The eyebrow covers, while they did their job and allowed for excellent expression, had some thick edges that were tough to hide, so back to the drawing board for them.
*The main nose itself was lightweight and even breathable in a limited fashion, so comfort was excellent. Blending edges were great. And it certainly has a definitive toon look! However, I will go back and do a resculpt on this, as I wish for a bit more upward curvature on the nosetip, and want to streamline the cheek/upper jaw area as they felt overly lumpy and came unglued too quickly. With those nips and tucks I'll have a cleaner design and will be very happy promoting them!
All in all it was a great experience. And now, on to the main show!
