Matt: Actually it's a lot more complex than you think. Crystal wants to become a FOUNTAIN statue; something which I probably should have made a bit more clear. Something like that can easily be done using magic, but sub-molecular transmogrification into a fountain through SCIENTIFIC means is a much different and more complicated. You have to take into account the fact that she's not just becoming solid stone; there's also the pipe through which the water flows through, the pump that makes the water flow through her, the power source. There's a lot to take into account and consider; especially if the transformation has to be reversable as well. My Golden Needles were able to undo the MAGIC transformation, but there's no guarantee that it'd do the same for a technology-induced transformation.
