"These tears in my eyes are not meant for you. And they are not tears of regret. These are not tears of guilt, or loss. They are of pride, on what you've become. They are tears of sadness; I will no longer be by your side. I will now play by my rules, as everything is for the taking. Should we meet again, just know I am not there to protect."

(Prepare yourself, this will be a long comment)
This sounds awesome, man. (General consensus of my current houseguests too.)
You've got a clear progression and a massive sound going on in the thick of it.
Your use of automation is uncanny and creates a dynamic flow throughout the piece.
Like most of your music the combination of synths gives me the impression of water, particularly the reflections it makes in sunlight. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbRZqmHn7_s there aren't many good videos of this for some reason.)
The distortion effect near the end works extremely well, and I'd actually be very interested to hear how you did that...
Some tiny suggestions I have would beeeee...
The initial piano sound has maybe a little too much reverb on it. Maybe turn down the predelay if it has any.
The drums are also a little too repetitive, have a play with the velocities. Add a harder hit on the first note of every bar. Sometimes if I have a long line of 1/16 hi-hats, I add a slight flanger to them to make them flow a little more.
This piece is well composed by any standard. And, it's probably just the way my mind works, but I could see this working with a few light orchestral instruments just lightly put in the background, particularly a small string section and a grand piano.
Either way, I look forward to the opportunity to record some vocals for this track.

You think most of my songs probably would go good with some orchestral overshadowing. xD
Also ye. I know the drums are repetitive. I keep forgetting about fine tuning the velocity to make it sound a bit more ehem.. 'real' in the piano roll. And I know the piano has way too much reverb- they actually had more. but that's just the grand piano.
I don't know how vocals would work for this track though ;-;
