Violet Ember, also just known as Ember, is a relatively young dragon, just barely into her adult years. She is a drake of the shadows, birthed from darkness itself but not exactly a creature of evil nature. Untethered to anything or anyone, she travels the world alone, exploring what is offered to her in a world that is eternally changing. Ember has not quite met another of her kind, she has encountered other kinds of dragons but not yet a shadow one like her. She seems to actually avoid the chance, seeming wary of meeting another for the fear of being judged or rejected. So instead she takes on the company of non-dragons and dragons of different breeds, though that companionship is often short since she does not stay long. Maybe when her fascination with the world has faded will she finally settle long enough to make lifetime friends and maybe even possibly take on a mate if presented the chance.
