This turned out so well! I just started drawing and let myself break away from the norms of how I usually do things when I draw. It turned out so much better! I originally just wanted to leave it a sketch, but after finishing the rough outline I had already fallen in love with it. So I did my best to ink and color at 2am. lol. The colors are all so dull on this scan, but I couldnt get them to look bright. I decided to play around with his design even more.....consequences of 2 am skrulf doodling to be sure. BUT I love the changes! I decided to add the bands of orange(ears, forearms, tail) and decided to alternate the color schemes of the pads on his snout,arms,legs,and feet. Note that starting with teh bands of colors on his ears,descending don his body to each of the pads the colors have a fun pattern:
orange(ears), dark brown (snout pad), light brown(shoulder pad), dark brown(other shoulder/arm pad), light brown(leg/hip pads), orange(feet pads)
For those who my not know, the paw prints on Psalms body represent stuffs!The pawprint on his pouch represents his mood and the pawprints on his back change colors with the weather!
Whats Psalms feelin right now?
Psalms wants you guys to know he loves you! Also, cool and clear skies all day! Blue skies await!
Also, if you notice the "from the desk of Ron Harmon"---> I found this note pad Ive been drawing on in the drawers of an old desk. Not me lol
