story behind this is that there was a rather poisonous pool nearby the camp of his lil group and he's somewhat blind so the tom cat went to drink but he didn't notice
but like
he was with another tom at the time in a semi-romantic relationship( not intimate tho u poop ) and that other tom got a female mate so suspicion would not be made
so people think he committed suicide
but he didn't
but people did because his 'mate' and the she-cat had kits and he has been recently depressed
