Most of the folks I ran into who weren't furry were pretty amused and were actually very nice about my explanation of the fandom... a couple of little girls wanted to join the suiters, actually. The only people who were D-bags were a couple of folks harrassing the suiters I was with when I went to get pizza on Sunday. The suiters chased them outside, though, it was hilarious.
