1st, Skin is not made of Egg Shell.
2nd, the person in the tub is alive and has not been hard boiled.
3rd, the person in the tub probably did not spend days immersed in the liquid.
I will admit that there is potentially some risk of caffeine exposure/OD since there is a lot of caffeine in that tub, and caffeine is absorbed through the skin quite easily, however that's pretty unlikely.
Perhaps even more interesting...is that caffeine has been linked to REDUCING skin cancer rates. Also Caffeine is used in quite a few dermatological products because it causes skin to contract, and thus look tighter/firmer.
It would be far more dangerous to try and drink that much soda, than to actually take a bath in it...unless of course you plan on spending hours or days soaking.
My first thought on seeing this image, was "what a waste of money" the thought of "OMG HE COULD DIE!" never even crossed my mind until I read your comment...and that just made me shake my head.

Caffeine can absorb through the skin but with pop drinks it's probably a small amount ;3 That would be a nice bubbly fizzy bath! Now if you took a bath in coffee/espresso grounds then you may be in danger lol. I worked for a coffee bar and seriously went through withdrawals on the weekend since the espresso grinds I was around absorbed through my skin took me awhile to figure out what the hell gave me bad headaches on the weekend.

I actually remember reading a study about soaps with caffeine and the rate of absorption of it through the skin. Apparently to absorb anything worthwhile, one has to sit with the soap on their skin for well over an hour.
