It's been a while since I've done much art work. Here's one of three gift badges I did for friends at FWA this year. First up Drake Tigerclaw. Since he's a pilot as well as an artist, I decided to go with an airplane theme, so in addition to a bomber jacket, I decided to put a P-61 Black Widow in the back ground, a plane that Drake and I are both fans of. My only regret is that I didn't get the olive on the P-61 darker, but that's as dark as my olive green pencil gets. And you may note that I at least tried to make the lettering look like riveted aluminum of an aircraft skin.
