Designed by a simply fantastic friend of mine, this is one of Aries' signature weapons; The pistol Witchfire!
Forged from the armor of Saint Galomas, this weapon channels the spirit of the wielder and shapes itself accordingly. When Aries holds it, the weapon takes on this appearance.
What, praytell, does that say about Aries?

Takes on the appearance of some manner of weapon that the user *deep* down desires. Once it's bonded to a user, it will not be usable by anyone else until the user's death, at which point it can be reshaped by a new wielder.
In Aries' hand, it morphed into a semi auto pistol, her mantra etching into the barrel.

Seems to fit her. Guns are powerful, yet she wants a pistol, something close range. And you can't take a bullet back... which kinda implies that she'll threaten, but if you push her, she won't look back. If it's to the death, so be it. She'll give you what you want.
And the mantra? A reminder to herself to stay calm, to remember her own power, to not panic in times of trouble. And, perhaps, that there's something bigger in the universe than evil men and their money.

Aries prefers close-range weaponry because she considers it to be respectful and honorable. If she doesn't have the courage to hear a man's breath before she stops the sound forever, what right does she have to steal it?
She'll be stealthy, but she won't actually kill a man unless its necessary. After all, rubber bullets can immobilize without killing.
But if she has a mind to take a life, she does them the courtesy of hearing them draw at least one breath before ending it.
And yes, the mantra is very, very important to her. She fears things she can't control, she fears failing to redeem her family name, she fears staying in one place for too long... But in her line of work, fearing evil will see her dead.
So if she abandons her fear of evil, then evil has no power over her and reinforces that there's more at work in the world than the ways of the wicked.

Some days, the justice of God is all that keeps my hope alive. Lotta wicked men running around this world, some with a great deal of power, some with not a bit of insanity... and some with both.
While I pray that many of them will turn from their evil ways and be healed by God, I know the majority won't. It's simple statistics. If Jesus himself said that most people on earth will end up in hell because of how easy the path is, then it follows that most groups of humanity would not reverse this ratio among their number, and some may even shrink it even further.
I may not know who is going to heaven besides myself (and some days it's hard not to doubt that), but this much I know: if you refuse God's mercy, you get his justice. And I know of no one who can stand against that.
