Oh look! I'm not dead. Just haven't been able to draw much due to the state of mind I was in while recovering from surgery.
Anyway, as the title says, this is a group drawing of all the dragons from the book series Wings of Fire. As far as I know, there are only 3 books currently out in the series with another due soon. I've not read the series at all yet myself, but that's not the reason for drawing this.
The real reason is because my bf's mom is a teacher, is planning on reading this with her class and wanted me to do some art of it. I agreed as I thought it would help me get back into the swing of drawing so I can do commissions once again. It seems to be working so far!
About the picture: There are seven total dragons, with five of them currently done up in terms of line work. The whole thing will be colored so this will go in scraps likely at some point. It is also a good thing to note that ALL the art of the dragons (minus the cover works) are profile/side view. I've had to use my judgement of how the scales and other details would look at the angles I have them and in the positions they're in. Not exactly the easiest task I must say. They right most dragon is also bigger due to it being longer in it's proportions. On all fours, it's apparently shorter than the rest of the dragons.
About the dragons: Of the seven that are currently lined, we have (starting from the left and working right and then the two in the air): SeaWing, MudWing, SandWing, SkyWing, RainWing. The other two (starting with the one on the ground) are the IceWing and NightWing. These are suppose to be the seven that are talked about in the book and if you like the series, well enjoy! I hope it is to your liking.
