Riat carries a sword that is more akin to a cleaver, with a long rectangular blade roughly 4 feet in length, one edge sharpened, a hook at the back of the far edge, and a thick steel crossguard. The handle is wrapped in thick cord to accomodate grip.
Character Description:
Face-
Riat's bangs are cut shorter than the back, but still hang over most of his face. In the back, his hair is long enough to sweep the ground when unbound.
Body-
Attire-
Riat wears a headband with an iron plate across the forehead. Engraved in the plate are the kanji depicting Strength and Ferocity.
Around his neck is strung a number of wolf teeth, tied tight around his neck, but with enough slack that the necklace falls upon his shoulders, rather than being worn like a choker.
Riat's hair is kept bound in a long tail, tied behind his head and at several points along its length with red cord. A single hawk feather hangs from his bangs to the right side of his face.
He wears nothing on his chest and back, save a tattoo of a wolf that covers much of his right arm.
Riat wears a crimson hakama, belted around his waist, bound at the shins by iron banded shinguards. Hanging from his waist is a thick rough cloth fauld that falls halfway below his knees. On his feet are a pair of boots, bound with iron at the ankle, and baring a steel spike at the toe.

Strengths:
Swift as Wind- Riat is incredibly light on his feet, able to close distances in the blink of an eye, and is dextrous enough to strike numerous times in rapid succession.
Fierce as Fire- Riat's strength and tenacity are incredible, with power enough to wield a weapon more than half his size with little difficulty, and the endurance to maintain an onslaught until his opponent falls.
Weaknesses:
Heedless- Riat pays little mind to his surroundings, leaving himself open from all sides. He attacks recklessly, failing to notice subtle changes in the environment or even in his opponent's patterns.
Skills/abilities:
Dragon's Breath- Riat is able to harness his ki, concentrating it in the pit of his stomach and expelling flames from his mouth. This requires time to channel, and if he is interrupted he may harm himself.
Flare Palm- Riat focuses ki around his hand, igniting the air around it and attacking with an open palm.
Burning Soul- Riat unleashes his ki, igniting the air all around himself, effectively creating an aura of flames.
Combat
Relentless Attacker- Riat does not wait for an opening, choosing instead to force one with his strength and speed. He will hammer away with little regard for collateral damage, focused only the opponent in front of him and his own assault.
Shieldless Defense- Riat is weak on defense, and if caught off-guard he will attempt to take an attack with his left arm, or block it with the width of his blade. If forced to defend, he will attempt to quickly reverse the situation and again press the attack.
