Fishing spider (Dolomedes sp.)

She was a BIG one. Was on my welcome mat on my back porch steps.

Couldn't get quite as close as i wanted to. I don't have a lot of experience with this species so wasn't sure how she'd react to the camera. She sort of started to lumber and climb away eventually.

Just wish I could have gotten a closer shot.

For size reference, her body was a bit over an inch long.
