"In this times, the beauty craze is ruling. Together with money, and the worst evil - humanity! Humans always used to interfere with nature. Sometimes with creating something good, but most of the time they caused harm and destruction.
In times when the riches get richer and the poors have to fight to survive, cruel experiments happen in countless underground labours. And the victims of these experiments are - like for already thousands of years - the animals!
There are experiments of all kinds, cosmetic, surgical, gene maipulations, yes they even try to make animals speak like humans. One can count the failures on the countless carcasses, wich are already difficult to depollute. They pile them up in abandoned provinces wich are seperated and locked, and to prevent disease outbreaks they add tons of toxin, so the straying animals cannot carry diseases away. They immediately die when they come too close to the poisoned carcasses. It's a vicious circle! But the animals become smart, they grow with the human's dreadful methods. They learn to stay away from these places - and from humans.
Rich people want... no, they need a status symbol, best one to carry around. A lap dog to put into the purse, to take with everywhere, or something huge to cage and keep in the garden, to show everybody. And it's essential - the more exotic, the better! So the species wich already live on this planet aren't enough anymore. That means: create new ones! And this happens in already mentioned labours. They try to crossbreed all sorts of animals: big cats, small cats, apes, canines, horses,... But they won't come far with the most of it. Horses and apes were given up very fast again. Also dogs, much too uninteresting already. But felines... yes, felines are interesting. Very exotic. From lions, tigers leopards, pumas to lynxes, servals, persians, siamese, blainese... felids always have been more interesting than any animal else. So imagine to own a cat with the look of a tiger or a lion. not only the markings, the whole look! The face, the body... only as a small cat. Why, wouldn't that be just delightful? A little leopard, strolling through the salon, that even loves water? You could swim in the pool with that little precious fellow!
A lot of rich people love this imagination... to own a little exotic nobody else does.
Anyhow, over 90% of the experiments are failures. Many abortions, most of the time the dam dies bevore it can give birth. They can't make the unnatural pregnancys and births. Freaks and monstrositys with not functioning organs or too much, or too little limbs.
But there are also already animals out of these experiments wich were completely "functioning". Only most of them doesn't look "beautiful" enough to sell it to people with high expectations. Cats wich are too big, nobody wants them to have in the house. Irregular markings, the faces are still too much of a cat and not of a tiger or a lion. And the biggest problem - the wildness. These animals, or "products" were still used for other experiments, locked into small cages. But one of them, only a little cub yet, has made it out of this cold, dark, painful hell..."
Soo... I've created a new design for Sang, my Lynx-crossbreed. But I didn't like the snow leopard in her. I'm totally in love with Oriental long haired Cats, so I wanted to cross these with a Lynx Lynx, my totally favourite of big cats. But I needed a good story why she should be crossed with a small feline, and I just love morbid storys.
I think we'll see more from Sang and her story in the future.
