Yes it's his view from inside the suit, looking out from the lenses as they melt and ultimately merge with his own eyes.

I love the effect of his eyes...that's a great view! Them coming closer and closer, then going dark...then a muzzle! I don't think I've ever even seen a sequence drawn like that before, good work!
