His monster doesn't really eat people, but instead devours them and feeds off of their emotions or something along those lines. Then he coughs them back up a few hours later, perfectly safe, just a little drained.

As a note I drew this because I thought the idea was interest and I normally don't draw distended stomachs and people sitting in bellies or that stage of vore (unless it's comical in nature). D: don't ask for that sort of thing in commissions please.
