Phil-Raptor
A costume 65 million years in the making... Okay well more like 5 months but DAYUM it was a long and painful road! I made this character after seeing a few awesome bird fursuits and after I was commissioned for a dragon. I thought, "I wanna be a draggy again! But I do loves me some birds".. Solution? FEATHERED DINOSAUR!!! We all know now that most dinosaurs were feathered so here we are! Now onto some details below.
-First off, he's based off a Velociraptor, Juvenal T-Rex, and Scarlet Mcaw.
-Hes the second fursuit I've made using my air brush to show details.
-He features a moving jaw, with built in fan for cooling.
-53 hand sculpted teeth.
-Large feathered crest on head.
-WINGS, omg the wings, each wing was hand sewn, hand stitched, to show off each. individual. feather. -____- Was a pain in the ASS but so worth it!
-Wings have fleece undersides and fur exterior.
-Fleece head, forearms and lower legs.
-3 toes hands and feet (with large slashing talon).
-Heavy feathered tail.
-Flat 2D eyes.
-HEAVY Digigrade padding for the legs.
