well the slimes come in different colors and have different number of eyes which are also there cores
they also harden when in contact with high temperatures but usually use the harden slime for homes or decoration
they travel in families most times and tend to all do the same type of growth most times

and mostly try to take form of creatures or humanoid with most lower halves of them going from puddle, blob, or having form

no name yet 'x3 but they are not native to Ty-Pera my character's home planet but is disputed over where they came from being waste contaminants forming together, imports from other planets or universes, or a experiment. They swell people as more of a defense to distract or incapacitate. There main purpose for traveling is for food. 'x3 Their main weakness would be clearly heat or fire.

ok this is good, So how do they select their target and how big can they swell the selected target? And what can they swell in their target? Is it temporary or permanent? Are there any repercussions? Downsides? Positive effects? And how is the target affected?

they usually go for the closest target and growth type varies from family to family most times the one I have here only does muscles only ':///3
and they only do it temporarily between the size of a car to a house being the max for one ':3
The repercussion for the slime is if the growth neither distracts or immobilize the target. The target could be more harmful to the other slimes but the good and bad thing they could do is have more then one slime attack which their affect stacks which is dangerous sometimes. The good side for both is the growth but the slime most times grows the target until they pass out from the extreme growth 'x3 Target most notable get immobilize with size but if they pass out you are most times left outside of their caves or the middle of no where if in plain area with any food or drank you had missing or shiny x3
