I second that --- the SEGA Genesis version comes to mind (and I still have the cartridge!).

My mind instantly goes to Rise of the Dragon, for MS-DOS.

Is the gun from Shadow Run? (just saw it elsewhere...serendipity?)

Probably more a case of form following function. The idea was a weapon that was somewhere between a machine pistol and a submachine gun that could be fired either with one or two hands. The pistol grip has it's roots in a design I originally used for a gun in Zaibatsu Tears http://maps.secondlife.com/secondli.....Olive/31/66/58

The designers of the Israeli Tavor assault rifle seemed to be thinking along similar lines, so basically, it's a miniature Tavor with styling that's a mix of FN P-90 and Steyr AUG.
