New Federation Fox foot paws
Just completed the first one last night. Ran out of fur to do the other paw so I have to wait for the fur to get here to finish it.
At this point all traces of the crappy fur I used in making the body (hey! It was on sale!!) has been replaced and looking better now. I most likely will not make FedFox look 'professional' (or whatever) as it's a suit used to experiment with design and patterns to improve my skill.
But now with the spotted gray fur all gone, I'm less reluctant to wear the suit out of the house!
Construction: anti-fatigue tile foot pad (see next photo), furniture foam (recycled from previous foot paws), Fabric Empire Gorilla fur, buckram to stiffen the shaft. Pants pull over that part when suited up. Used a pair of old house slippers for the foot to fit in.
All fur machine sewn from DTD of the foam. Toes are separated, deep 'slots' are between the toes to assist in appearance. I used to just carve furrows.
