Awesome pic!

Once in the remote property I was living on in the desert, a GSD came trotting up. Much to my other dog's chagrin.

Well, I ended up keeping her because I wanted him to have a friend, and more than that, protection, as the desert can be a dangerous place.

I didn't care for her too much, as she was pretty wild and seemingly not all that loyal.

A year later, I have discovered that for what she lacks in general acting like a dogmanship, she makes up for in heart. Now, i can't imagine living without her. Her and my other dog are my best friends.

Whenever I go to a vehicle, she runs past me and jumps inside of it.

She is saying, "Don't leave me daddy!!" Because, at one point, someone did leave her in the desert to fend for herself.

Well, their loss. How uncaring to just dump an animal who's loyal, good, caring, and kind like she's trash. Pisses me off. But guess what. Now she has a home where she's loved, and she adores me and my other pup.

I work in animal protection in France, and many do not have that chance ... Some of our dogs are thrown on the road, moving car..
